Privacy policy

Information we process

We process your name, email, securely hashed password, login sessions, uploaded photos, selected motion preset, generated videos, and generation history. We also keep your credit balance, purchase and refund references, and records needed to prevent duplicate charges or credit grants. Technical requests can include IP addresses, browser details, timestamps, and errors. Stripe collects payment information in its hosted checkout. KeepSway receives customer and transaction references, purchase amounts, currency, purchased items, invoice references, and payment, refund, dispute, or fraud-warning status. We do not receive or store full card numbers.

Why we use this information

We use account and purchase information to provide the service and perform our contract with you. We process photos and generation instructions to create the videos you request. For photos of other people, you must have their permission to submit them for this processing. We rely on our legitimate interests to keep the service secure, diagnose faults, prevent fraud, and resolve support requests. We retain information where necessary to meet legal obligations or establish and defend legal claims. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for future processing. We do not use your photos or videos to train our own AI models, sell them, or publish them in a public gallery. We do not use advertising trackers or send marketing emails.

Providers and access

Cloudflare R2 stores uploaded photos, generated videos, and backups in private buckets. Our application server and database host account and generation records. Authorized administrators may access information when needed for support, security, or operating the service. We send photos and motion instructions to fal to generate videos using Kling. fal and the underlying model provider process these files under their applicable terms. Their copies and retention are separate from KeepSway’s storage. Read fal’s privacy policy and service terms. Stripe receives the customer information needed for checkout and manages payments and fraud prevention under its privacy policy. Sentry receives error and sampled performance diagnostics. We configure Sentry to exclude request bodies, cookies, URL query parameters, and automatic user information. File links are temporary access links, so anyone you share a valid link with may be able to open it.

International processing

Our R2 buckets are configured in Western Europe, but that does not mean all processing stays in Europe. fal, model providers, Stripe, Sentry, and their service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Applicable provider data-processing terms include transfer safeguards where required, such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your request.

Retention and deletion

Finished videos are automatically removed after 90 days from creation. Photos are removed after 24 hours when no retained generation uses them. A photo used by a video in your library can therefore remain for the video’s retention period. Generations still being processed are kept until they finish. Deleting a finished video removes it from your library. Stored files are removed during scheduled cleanup, so removal is not instantaneous. Account, credit, payment, and generation-history records are separate from the media files and remain while needed to operate your account, resolve purchases, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Database and system backups retain 14 copies and are rotated as new backups succeed. Deleted records may remain in those backups until rotation. Deleting a file in KeepSway does not itself erase copies held by generation providers or files you downloaded or shared. Contact us for account deletion or requests concerning provider-held copies.

Cookies and diagnostics

KeepSway uses cookies needed to sign you in and maintain your session. Blocking them can prevent login. We use Sentry for error reporting and sampled performance diagnostics, not advertising or session replay. Stripe’s hosted checkout and billing portal have their own cookies and privacy notices.

Your choices and rights

You can delete finished videos in your library. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of processing, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights depend on the circumstances, and some records may need to be retained by law. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month and will explain any lawful extension. These rights also apply if someone else uploaded a photo of you. You can complain to the Polish data-protection authority, UODO, or your local supervisory authority. KeepSway accounts are intended for adults. If you believe a child created an account or a photo was uploaded without permission, contact us.
